EmbraceTango

We recently had the great pleasure of hosting Beatrix Satzinger and Michael Young for a two week tango extravaganza. This included workshops,private lessons and a milonga featuring the fabulous music of Tango Number 9 from San Francisco. Beatrix and Michael performed four exquisite dances during the concert followed by an introductory tango lesson with sixty people!

Beatrix and Michael first came to the Mendocino Coast in July of 2004. They taught two days of workshops and thirty private lessons in one week and received rave reviews from our group. As teachers they are among the best guest teachers we have had, and certainly favorites with our group.

Michael has a way of demystifying technique and going straight to the problem areas. They are both remarkably good at explaining and demonstrating the fundamentals as well as the higher art of tango. We have been particularly enchanted with their unique technique of dancing close embrace in a very emotional and intimate way.

The Tango Mendocino community enthusiastically recommends Beatrix and Michael!
The level of dance has greatly improved as a result of their phenomenal teaching. We welcome them back to the Mendocino coast (for the third time)in May of 2005.
